Over the years, I have had various colors in my kitchen. I saw an "inspiration" room, done in gray with a lavendar accent. Had to do it. Painted the bottom section gray, chair rail and doors a lighter shade of gray, and a darker shade of lavender on the top. Added a black swag (with white trim) over the windows. Applicances are black. Cabinets are a birch wood color. Looks fabulous. Having a new floor installed at the end of the month. Very relaxing colors. Everyone says - Wow
