Site We Love: MyLowes

by fh_rachel on NOVEMBER 02, 2011

MyLowesYou may have seen the commercials on TV, but just last week, Lowe’s launched MyLowes, a handy little tool on their website, which stores and remembers nearly everything you can’t seem to keep track of about your home. Log in (for free) and it will store and organize things like your paint color choices, furniture and fixture purchases and other home details. For example, you can log your air filter size and type, and it will automatically send you reminders to buy a new one, if you like. It’ll even automatically save all the manuals for appliances you buy! (Who honestly keeps all of those and knows where they all are, off-hand?)

If you want to remember specifics of each room, you can do that too, by organizing all your purchases in their own specific folders. So, you can open your Master Bedroom folder and get all the information on your paint color, fixture choices, drapery measurements and more.

Best of all, you can manually log in things you haven’t bought at Lowes, so you can keep everything all organized and in one spot.

Take a quick spin — I’m pretty sure if you’re Type A like me, you’ll go pretty gaga over it!

I know -- but hopefully a good time-suck, rather than some other sites that aren't productive at all!
