Raise your hand if you love dogs. (Hand raised.) I swear when I meet a dog on the street, I don’t ever notice the owner; I immediately swoop down to say hi to the puppy. (Which is why if I ever meet Ryan Gosling’s dog George on the streets of New York, I run a good chance of ruining my chance to meet, schmooze with, and make Ryan Gosling fall madly in love with me. But that’s an entirely different blog post.)
My point is: I love dogs and all my friends and family feel the same way. Which is why I love these breed-specific Dog Blueprints ($185, framed, from UncommonGoods). You can choose from more than 500 dog breeds, and each print is made in California:
“Created in the style of mid-century blueprints (designed by architect “I. M. Paws”), this detailed illustration of your chosen breed is accompanied by “design specs” and documentation about breed origins and temperament. Each blueprint is given a distressed finish, creating the appearance of an authentic, vintage document.”
And if your puppy love falls for a mutt instead of a purebred, you’re covered too, with the Mutt Blueprint (also $185, framed, from UncommonGoods):
(Psst: Cat lovers, don’t despair: There are cat blueprints, too!)
What’s your favorite dog breed?

These are awesome! (If a bit expensive, I'm such a cheapskate.) For pure cuteness, I love beagles. But to own, give me a good mutt any day. And P.S. -- Ignoring Ryan Gosling and paying attention only to his dog actually could be the key to making him fall madly in love with you. Just sayin'.

True, a bit pricey, but they are handmade here in the States, and come framed. Framing itself can be super expensive. Totally taking your Ryan Gosling advice to heart :) Stay tuned.
