I just adore this new mini-craft book, Microcrafts: Tiny Treasures to Make and Share ($16.95, Quirkbooks). My good friend Sarah Goldschadt (who’ve you have seen on this blog before — we featured her mini heart garland printable and cupcake toppers for my sister-in-law’s baby shower — contributed two projects to this book, including a how-to for her adorable little owlies:
The rest of the book is equally as fun and filled with 25 “tiny teddy bears, little ladybugs, petite porcupines, itsy-bitsy bikinis” and more. I love the mini bunting for the top of a cake — such a fun alternative for candles:
