DIY: Halloween Silhouettes

by fh_rachel on OCTOBER 28, 2011

One of my favorite newbie blogs is Built by Kids, authored by husband-and-wife team Timothy and Laura Dahl. It’s filled with building projects by kids, with kids and for kids, and it’s a great spot to get tips on how to safely teach your kids to use hand and power tools at a young age.

I love this Halloween project Timothy and Laura posted: How to make witch and grim reaper silhouettes. They’re perfect for spooking your trick-or-treaters on the front lawn! This is definitely a built-with-kids or built-for-kids project — in fact, Timothy and Laura recommend only skilled teenagers and adults who observe proper safety use a jigsaw.
