To say I’m impressed with our very own Fresh Face, Jen Jones’s (from IHeart Organizing) stenciled wall is a huge understatement.
When I saw her post, I thought, oh Jen stenciled part of her wall. Oh, no, folks. She stenciled the entire wall. And bowl me over, she did. I’m in love.
Let me back up a bit. Here was Jen’s room before:
It was a blank slate she wanted to fill, and the Zamira allover stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils would do just the trick. Armed with a small stencil level and painter’s tape, Jen went to work:
She used Glidden non-tinted white flat paint:
After just one hour, I’m already impressed:
A small craft brush was perfect to paint the corner details just right:
After only four hours, it was time to remove the tape:
Voila: Finished!
See? I told you. Very impressive. I’m not sure I have the patience for this, but the result is too impressive to not give it a shot. Be sure to check out Jen’s blog, IHeart Organizing, for even more details how she pulled off this project. Great job, Jen!

What a fearless project! I am so inspired by this post. I don't think I have the guts to stencil an entire will without any experience, but now all painting projects seem possible.

That is so amazing!!! I don't see how she did that without having to tape over wet paint. I love it!
