DIY Shutter Wall

I’m dying over this DIY wall made of shutters, posted by the folks at Olive and Love. It’s made entirely of thrift store shutters, which they painted and “Tetris-ed” together from floor-to-ceiling.

The Ella Dining Room & Bar in Sacramento, California, has a similar ceiling covered with shutters:

I’ve never seen anything like these before. Very cool!

What other DIY projects could we make the vintage shutters?

The very large shutters could easily be crafted into stylish room dividers/privacy blinds.

Definitely — I love the idea of using them as a headboard, too. Thanks for reading!

I have an odd collection of shutters...how could I use them on an outdoor patio fence to make a “french country garden”?
