We’re thinking about business cards here at Fresh Home, and in true DIY style, we want to make them ourselves, especially since we’re not really digging ordering boxes of traditional cards. And as much as we love letterpress, the bill for that would just be way too high for a staff of, eh, 20 or so.
These ideas, though, are much less expensive and eco-friendly to boot. And who doesn’t love that?
On createYU, I found the idea to have a custom stamp made, which you can then ink on whatever’s lying around the office–cardboard, old business cards, old press releases, pieces of boxes:
I love the idea of getting a really cool stamp made, something like this quick Etsy find or this one and stamping away:
Amy’s idea on Design*Sponge is even less expensive. Go to Staple’s and buy a DIY stamping kit, then use tweezers to place each individual letter on the tray. Voila! Instant stamp. And like the other, stamp on scraps of paper or recycled material:
What’s your vote? Buy custom-made stamps, or head over to Staples and make ‘em ourselves?

Neat! And I wouldn't have to worry about the edges getting worn in my wallet.
