Step 1: Place Daffodil Plant in Container

Place the daffodil plant in the center of white container. Fill the remainder of the container with potting soil.

TIP

The daffodil plant in the centerpiece could be left in it plastic flowerpot. That way, it could be swapped out if the blossoms aren't fully opened on the day needed.

Step 2: Add Grass Seed

Add grass seed to the soil. The grass will germinate and grow to be a couple of inches high in a week. It will continue to grow and fill in the space around the plant. (If the grass gets too long, cut it back with a scissors.)

Step 3: Cut Blossoms

Before displaying, cut blossoms from the extra plants and insert a toothpick into the stem.

Step 4: Place Blossoms in Grass

Place the blossoms in the grass where desired. (These blossoms will stay fresh for a couple of days.)
