Step 1: Cover Cubes with Paper

Glue scrapbooking paper onto plain wood cubes. Be sure all air bubbles are smoothed out. Add scrapbooking letters to spell your word or phrase.

Step 2: Add Age with Black Ink

Rub the sanded edges with black ink to give the blocks a slightly aged look.
