Step 1: Lay a Tablecloth

First lay down a light-colored tablecloth. Choose clear glass, white or silver serving dishes for the desserts.

Step 2: Arrange Your Centerpiece

A floral arrangement and large white bottle-brush Christmas tree can star as the centerpieces in your display.

TIP

For simple party favors, purchase or make Christmas poppers.

Step 3: Add White Candles

Candles are a must at an evening holiday gathering. Place taper candles in glass candleholders. When shopping, look for white tree candles.

Step 4: Add White & Silver Ornaments

In addition to displaying white and silver ornaments, set silver tree toppers on the table, making sure they sit flat. As the finishing touch, fill bowls or apothecary jars with fragrant potpourri.
