Clean the wall above the bed, making sure the area is dry and dust free. If the wall is newly painted, wait a week before applying decals.
Use a measuring tape to find the center of the area above your bed. Working from the inside out, make light pencil marks on the wall where you'd like the decals placed. Create as many columns as you need to span the width of your bed.
Then step back to admire your handiwork. Smooth out any air bubbles and reposition your decals as necessary.
