Produced by Todd MooreWritten by Rachael Liska

Step 1: Cut Ribbons

From canvas, cut a 40-in.-long by 8-in.-high strip and fold over lengthwise, so that the resulting strip is 4 in. high.

Step 2: Sew Ribbons Together

Take ribbon strands and sew them one by one, abutting one another, to the canvas strip. Do this until you completely fill the width of the strip with ribbons. Please note: The length of ribbons will vary according to your particular doorway. Ours has a low opening, so we cut our ribbons about 6 ft. long.

Step 3: Sew On Velcro Tape

Sew Velcro tape to the face of the canvas strip and attach opposing side to top of doorway. Align the two sides of tape and press firmly together.

Step 4: Trim Ribbons

With very sharp scissors, trim ribbons along curtain bottom, being careful to leave at least 2 in. sweeping the floor. Otherwise, you lose the flowing effect.
