Step 1: Cut into the Sombrero

Make an X in the top of a sombrero with a box knife, and thread a pendant light and cord unit through the opening from the underside of the hat, being careful not to widen the hole.

Step 2: Screw in a Lightbulb

Now, string up sombrero from ceiling with hook. Olé!
