Love this! I wish you had suggested using, say, damaged books that had pages torn out or water damage inside.... but its still a great, unique project that Ill definitely do :D For a book lover such as myself, I know it will makie me smile every time I look at it :D

Here is a thought, how about respecting the books, and NOT drilling holes in them for a tacky vase? Why not open the pages and read them instead? This project makes me sick.

Personally I would use damaged books that couldnt really be read anymore (say, bad water damage to the pages), but the project "makes you sick"?? wow. you rile up easily, huh? "here is a thought": take a deep breath and chill. Getting that upset and judge-y over a craft project isnt going to hurt anyone but yourself....and why would you want to do that? :)
