Step 1: Cut Old PVC Straps

Use sharp scissors to cut off all the old PVC straps from the outdoor chair.

Step 2: Wipe the Aluminum Frame

Wipe the aluminum frame with a damp towel to remove any dirt or debris.

Step 3: Spray a Light Coat of Paint Over the Frame.

Once frame is dry, working outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, spray a light coat of paint over the frame. Let dry; spray additional light coats until chair is evenly painted.

Step 4: Knot the Rope into Place

Once the paint is completely dry, knot the rope into place at the top of the chair and begin tightly wrapping the rope over and under the frame of the chair. Once you reach the base of the chair, tie another knot to secure it into place.

Step 5: Trim Both Knots

Trim both knots with scissors, and use a match to burn the knot ends secure.
