This creative cubby system lets you schedule your to-do's according to the day you want them done. Tuck mail, coupons, flyers, and other pertinent items into the appropriate day's spot and know your tasks will be taken care of—eventually.
What impresses us about this home office owner's storage smarts? The leaning caddy for magazines and flyers and the super-long shelf built to showcase treasured art (or work inspiration) above and directly from it.
For uniform-looking storage, use a single solid color for all boxes and magazine holders. (Add decorative labels if it helps you find what you need faster.)
Long, skinny cases can hold seldom-needed supplies in unobtrusive spaces, like under a desk.
Who says magazines and books need to be stored vertically? If your bookshelf isn't tall enough to accommodate stashing reading material on their end, lay them down in tidy stacks, instead.
Utilize all possible spaces in a small or multi-use home office: Windowsills make temporary bookshelves (though you'd want to move items during open-air seasons) and the area beneath a bench is ideal for hosting small storage bins.
An old typesetter's case is refashioned into thoughtful storage—albeit shallow and horizontal—for this small home office.
iMacs are outdated, but chalkboards aren't. The daily hanging to-do lists in this office are a clever way to organize your days, one week at a glance.
Store all your bill-paying, letter-writing, and note-taking essentials in a modern secretary's desk, set in a room you'll be most comfortable using it in.
To create this hanging pretty hanging bulletin board, cover MDF with polyester batting and the fabric of your choice, gluing or nailing it to the backside neatly. On the front, adhere ribbon to alternate edges of the board, overlapping it to create spots for tucking paper, photos and other paper treasures.
There's no shame in letting an all-in-one computer desk station do the bulk of your office organizing for you.

I love the white book case and the shelves. Are these made or bought and how much would they be whether bought or made? Thank you. Nancy

Hi Nancy -- do you mean in slide #3? You can find similar ones at IKEA -- look for the Expedit shelves.
