Cut two green felt pieces and two purple felt pieces following outline of pattern.
Trim shaded areas from pattern and using trimmed pattern, cut four orange felt pieces.
Lay out all the pieces alternating them as follows: one orange, one green, one orange, one purple, one orange, one green, one orange and one purple.
Apply a narrow bead of fabric glue along the shaded pattern areas of the green and purple pieces. With the top edges even, place the orange pieces on top of the glue, overlapping the shaded areas. Let dry.
Glue a 1/2-inch gold bell to each point of the collar.
Cut slits in each section of the collar where shown on pattern.
Slide cat’s collar through the slits and place collar on cat.
