It pains me to see piles of tossed-out aluminum outdoor furniture made with PVC plastic strips at the ends of driveways. This, my friends, needs to end. – Danny Seo

Produced by Danny Seo
Use sharp scissors to cut off all the old PVC straps from the outdoor chair.
Wipe the aluminum frame with a damp towel to remove any dirt or debris.
Once frame is dry, working outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, spray a light coat of paint over the frame. Let dry; spray additional light coats until chair is evenly painted.
Once the paint is completely dry, knot the rope into place at the top of the chair and begin tightly wrapping the rope over and under the frame of the chair. Once you reach the base of the chair, tie another knot to secure it into place.
Trim both knots with scissors, and use a match to burn the knot ends secure.
